For my class 5 term I got the opportunity to be one of the first couple students to animate Animschool's new character "Ignacio". My animations have come a long way from the last 2 years and I'm looking forward to making more advancements as I keep learning!

I blocked out a good amount in this 10 second pass. With this said, I am heading into the first stage of my spline passes. All together, I have about a 15-17 second piece that I want to display on my 2nd demo reel. I am open for any suggestions and weak points.

As I was brainstorming, I took out my initial idea animating the Spiderbot with winter elements from point A to point B. I recreated the story so that it is amongst the bot and a lumber jack. I still kept what I had already animated and proceeded to the next challenges. Below is a vimeo link to a 9 second piece.

I haven't quite figured out what title I prefer for this animation, but I am sure I'll think of something suitable. As I finish the previous "This Should be a Breeze" animation, I dive right into this one. For now, I am setting up the environment and timing it out with storytelling shots. Here is a snapshot of what is soon to come.
Overall, I think this is close to being completed. I will note that there are smaller controls that need attention before wrapping this up (Hands, fingers, facial features). I changed the ending so as to shorten its entirety. It wasn't reaching its full potential and I feel it was dragging a bit. I cut about 6-7 seconds off in the long run. I still kept the same idea of relation with my own golf game that can happen at times. Below is a dropbox link.

In this pass, I adjusted my timing a bit so that the animation reads smoothly without any hiccups and misunderstandings. I went in and added breakdowns in this stage. Not all breakdowns are seen in this time around. For the next block pass, I will factor in more.

When I golf, it always seems that luck is never on my side. I chose to animate something comical that can translate just how unfortunate my golf game can be on the course. I'll be updating shot progress as much as I can. Here is Shot 1: Storytelling.
