So I made sure I had some feedback before diving in to make the fixes. Based on the previous one, I think some were saying that it was unclear why the bartender fell in the first place. I positioned the other character's arm higher and more in the line of action directed towards the face for the adjustment. Also, some were saying that there were still tangent smoothing in the arms and other minor areas that could use less ambiguity. In the process, I pointed out errors myself that could of used better limb arrangements and facial flow to lead the viewer through the animation.Click for fixed video link >>> https://vimeo.com/57985360
It has been a long delay for posting this but I wanted to make sure I had enough critiques on this animation before I gave myself the green light. Keep in mind that the rendered version in this reel is not finalized. I'm going back to make the necessary changes and will end up posting it by itself. So here is the evolution of my 11 second animation that was worked on throughout the month of December. I continue to
expose myself to the basic principles of animation. Recently I watched
Kung Fu Panda for the second time and tried to really keep in mind of certain animation terms. In the shot below I happened to catch
this clever set-up of Tigress and Po. In the short shot that it was, I
noticed both her body and eyes lined up in such a way that it not only
drew my attention on her but also Po's awestruck expression.
