I made sure to address the necessary areas of the animation that were lacking some principles. I definitely enjoyed this whole exercise as I progressed through the end of the month since becoming a member half way into September. Looking forward to Kenny's critiques. There were a couple passes I skipped to post but I decided to wipe out the "pointing pose" and stick with the "tada" pose. Here is another WIP of my Kenny Roy take with Putting on a Hat. Below is a link to the first smooth pass.

Kenny Roy Animation Practice (animation ver2)

Below is version 2 of my WIP. I fixed a few things other animators suggested that were pretty helpful. Still in the blocking stage. I am trying to convey that Malcolm is thinking of his good times with his lucky hat then expresses his happiness in the end. So far this is what I came up with as a result. Trying to "do a lot more of a lot less". - Kenny Roy

Kenny Roy Animation Practice

For this month I had intentions of creating my own personal animation, but instead I finally decided to join Kenny Roy's website. With this said, Kenny's exercise for this month is to place a hat on a character's head. Below is version 1 of a blockpass (staging/storytelling). I am enjoying the challenge so far.
